Youth & Adult Project Leaders

The community build project was specifically designed to provide many significant youth service projects for boys and girls ages 12-18 (Eagle Scout award, sterling scholar, personal progress, Girl Scouts, religious or civic organizations, etc.) Teaming up with each youth is a responsible adult who will volunteer as an adult project leader. Ideally the adult is a parent although it can be a scout leader or advisor.

Although each team will be given basic guidelines and instructions the ultimate responsibility for accomplishing the task belongs to the team. Each team has the latitude to take ownership of their assignment and develop their own "game plan".

As a youth or adult project leader it's important to remember you're building more than a park. You're building young men and women who possess leadership and organizational skills, self confidence, and a sense of community.
